FLIP. Crowd-source skills assessment tool

London, 2010-2012

FLiP is a crowd-sourced skills assessment tool for young people to help them communicate their strengths. It uses social media to help identify skills and competencies and allows users to create an online profile. Role: project lead & creative direction.

FLiP builds on a young person’s existing network of friends, family and mentors to provide a crowd-sourced assessment of their individual strengths. Networks are leveraged through social media channels, such as Facebook and email, to rate a young person’s strengths. FLiP aggregates the results and allows young people to build a presentable profile to support their CV and prepare for potential interviews.

FLiP worked with Camden Apprenticeship Scheme (Phase 1) including research, co-design, prototyping the tool in live settings with young people (16 -24 year olds) and partnering organisations.
