DACRC is linked to a practice-led socially responsive design research agenda that posits crime as a theme that can be address by methodologies generated by social design.

The communication strategy developed, starting with the re-design of the website, focuses on meeting the needs of the varied audience that DEACRC addresses, from students, to academic and researchers, public bodies and private organisations. It's linked to a social media platform that allows for a broader dissemination of the work.
